Carol is very excited to join the Royal Life Saving Society UK.

After spending her career supporting the commercial sector with a profit motive, she looks forward to the prospect of using her skills and experience to help and support RLSS UK in its mission to be the leader in lifesaving and lifeguarding in the UK and the Republic of Ireland, sharing its expertise and knowledge with as many people as possible, giving everyone the potential to save lives and enjoy water safely.

As a fully qualified accountant (F.C.C.A.), Carol brings strong analytical financial skills and business acumen into play. She has extensive experience of scrutinising financial reports and assessing the financial performance of an entity. 

With a background of operating as a board director for many years, managing compliance within company law, complying with accountancy statutes, operating within tax legislation, and having a good working knowledge of employment law, this will help Carol safeguard RLSS UK within its many roles as service provider and employer. 

Carol’s childhood was spent playing on the beaches of South Wales, with its high tidal range together with its fast and dangerous currents, the presence of RLSS UK lifeguards was always a reassuring, which is why joining such an organisation is a privilege for her.
