Nick Grazier began working with the Royal Life Saving Society UK (RLSS UK) in 2018, joining the organisation as an Awards and Qualifications Developer. In this role, he played a key part in the development and delivery of nationally recognised lifesaving awards and qualifications, supporting RLSS UK’s mission to reduce drowning through education, training, and lifesaving excellence.

Nick now holds the position of Deputy Director of Commercial Services at RLSS UK. In this senior leadership role, he provides strategic and operational oversight of the Awards and Qualifications portfolio, Training services, and the RLSS UK Shop, ensuring these services are high‑quality, accessible, and commercially sustainable. He prides himself on ensuring that the support and services delivered by RLSS UK are exceptional, enabling operators to provide safe, well‑managed environments where people can confidently enjoy water. Alongside his UK responsibilities, Nick also serves as an RLSS Portfolio Director for RLSS Commonwealth, where he oversees and advises on international strategy relating to Lifeguard Solutions, working closely with Commonwealth members to promote consistency, quality, and best practice worldwide.

Nick began his career in the leisure industry at the age of 16 as a Lifeguard, developing vital frontline experience that has shaped his lifelong commitment to water safety. He has since progressed through a wide range of roles across the sector, from operational positions to Head of National Training for a large UK leisure operator. This breadth of experience has given Nick a deep understanding of the challenges and responsibilities faced by leisure providers.
