About the Partnership

ABTA and the Royal Life Saving Society UK (RLSS UK) have been working together for the past ten years to raise awareness of water safety for UK nationals travelling abroad. ABTA displays the RLSS UK Water Safety Code on its website and both organisations amplify this important message to travel agents and members of the public around staying safe around water when travelling abroad. 

With our mutual aim to reduce the number of accidental drownings and water-based injuries for UK nationals travelling abroad, our partnership will see us strengthen and embed water safety awareness messaging into the work of UK travel agents and their customers.
