Bespoke Training Request Form Bespoke Training FAQs Can RLSS UK in-house trainers deliver courses at my venue? The RLSS UK Training team can be booked to deliver a bespoke training at your venue. Please be aware that, based on the number of candidates attending the course, the RLSS UK Training team will need a suitable training/meeting room. Additionally, if the qualification has water-based content (e.g., NPLQ, NRASTC, etc.), they will also need access to a swimming pool. The RLSS UK training team usually delivers courses between 9 am and 5 pm on weekdays. There is some flexibility on start or end times or weekend availability to suit your requirements. However, the learning hours must still be completed according to the qualification guidance and syllabus. Can RLSS UK deliver courses on weekends and bank holidays? Yes, the RLSS UK Training team can deliver our courses on weekends and/or bank holidays if needed. However, this will depend on our trainer’s availability. We recommend contacting us as early as possible if you are looking to book a weekend or bank holiday delivered course. Can RLSS UK provide a quote for delivering a course? Yes, absolutely. Our tiered pricing structure depends on the number of candidates taking the course. Tier 1 is for courses with 1-6 candidates, and Tier 2 is for courses with 7-12 candidates. What is the minimum number of candidates I can have on an RLSS UK course? The minimum number of candidates required for the RLSS UK training team to deliver a course is four. What is the maximum number of candidates I can have on an RLSS UK course? The maximum number of candidates for which the RLSS UK training team will deliver a course is twelve. If you have more than twelve candidates, more than one course may be required, or two trainers will be needed. Can RLSS UK deliver the Swimming Pool Emergency Rescue Award in one day? RLSS UK’s Swimming Pool Emergency Rescue Award course content takes two days to deliver. However, if all the candidates have an in-date and valid Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) or First Aid at Work (FAW) from RLSS UK or another regulated awarding organisation, the course can be tailored to be delivered on one day only. How long will a swimming pool be needed for a Swimming Pool Emergency Rescue Award course? An RLSS UK Trainer Assessor will be required to deliver a Swimming Pool Emergency Rescue Award course at your venue. They will require access to a swimming pool for a minimum of 2 hours to deliver the training content. The pool space provided must be suitable for the number of candidates attending the course. How long will a swimming pool be needed for a NRASTC and/or ATPRA course? An RLSS UK Trainer Assessor will be required to deliver a NRASTC and/or ATPRA course at your venue. They require a swimming pool for a minimum of 2 hours to deliver the training content, and they will need it again for an additional 30-45 minutes for the course assessment period. The pool space provided must be suitable for the number of candidates attending the course. Please be aware that an additional RLSS UK Trainer Assessor will attend your venue to assess the candidates at the end of the training. The RLSS UK Trainer Assessor usually arrives 15-20 minutes before the assessment. What do I need to deliver the National Water Safety Management Programme (NWSMP) Inland module? For an RLSS UK Trainer Assessor to deliver the National Water Safety Management Programme (NWSMP) Inland module to your candidates, they will need access to an appropriate waterway which includes moving water (e.g. a river or estuary), and flat water (e.g. a dam, canal, lock, quarry, or floating harbour). Suitable and sufficient PPE must also be accessible and available for each candidate taking the course. The PPE should be suitable for use and fit each candidate correctly.
