Date: 31/10/2025 At a glittering ceremony yesterday (Thursday 30 October 2025) at the International Convention Centre in Birmingham, the Royal Life Saving Society UK (RLSS UK)’s Commercial Director, Jo Talbot, was crowned the ‘Outstanding Individual Leadership Award’ winner. The Outstanding Individual Leadership Award category was open to high-performing leaders from any type of organisation. To be shortlisted by the judges and progress to the public vote, leaders had to have had a positive impact on their organisation through collaborative teamwork and overcoming challenges. The application also had to demonstrate that the leaders had had successes in their organisation from implementing different strategies, development plans, and inspirational approaches to leadership, whilst fundamentally supporting the mission of getting the nation more active. Jo was successfully shortlisted by the judges and crowned the winner after receiving the most votes in the public vote.
