Why RLSS UK First Aid Training? Since 1891, the Royal Life Saving Society UK (RLSS UK) has been sharing expertise in water safety, lifesaving, and lifeguarding. Today, it boosts an impressive suite of qualifications, awards, and educational resources. At the heart of everything that has been achieved is world-leading knowledge of water safety and training, but also comprehensive knowledge and understanding of first aid, including legislation and current thinking around first aid techniques and practises, which are an integral part of both water safety qualifications and first aid qualifications. RLSS UK has a network of Trainer Assessors that deliver world-class first aid training courses by teaching life-saving skills in an interactive and engaging manner. To ensure the qualifications and awards remain of the highest standard, we work with the Resuscitation Council UK, First Aid Quality Partnership Group, First Aid Awarding Organisation Forum and European Research Council to review best practices and ensure they are ratified, and all our Trainer Assessor are annually audited to ensure consistency in delivery. A panel of the most senior and highly regarded advisors and a Clinical Governance Group can also be called upon to share expertise and knowledge across all first aid skills. All Level 3 and above first aid qualifications also qualify for UCAS points. We are recognised and monitored by Ofqual, Qualifications Wales and CCEA Regulation in Northern Ireland.
