We’re attending Elevate 2025 – come and say hello!

RLSS UK staff are heading to ExCeL London on Wednesday, 18 June and Thursday, 19 June for Elevate 2025! We are delighted to participate in such a prominent event for the physical activity and fitness industry. 

It's a free-to-attend, first-class industry networking opportunity, and the RLSS UK team will be on stand G43 to discuss our world-leading qualifications and awards and all things aquatic! 

Over the two days, RLSS UK will host two aquatic theatres with our partners - Swim England and the Institute of Swimming - alongside the Swimming Teachers Association. The aquatic theatres will provide a platform for guest speakers and panellists from our industry to present on new initiatives, share best practices, and research and encourage sector-wide discussions. 

There are 50+ CPD-accredited workshops and sessions, many delivered by or involving RLSS UK staff or supporters and topics in the Aquatics Theatres include: 

Wednesday 18 June

• 1.10 - 1.50pm: Beyond the Lifeguard - Ensuring pool safety without constant supervision. (Active Aquatics Theatre 1)
• 1.10 - 1.50pm: Question time with leading Aquatic CEOs.(Active Aquatics Theatre 2)
• 2.50 – 3.30pm: Safe Swimming Pools - Expert reflections on past pool incidents and prevention strategies. (Active Aquatics Theatre 1)
• 2.00 - 2.40pm: The Future of Pool Safety- could supervision technology become the next AED? (Active Aquatics Theatre 2)
• 3.40 – 4.20pm: Beyond 25 Metres – Why Swimming Skills Alone Don’t Guarantee to Keep Children Safe (Active Aquatics Theatre 2)

Thursday 19 June

• 10.40 – 11.20am: A Generation on Pause: Can the Leisure Sector Reignite 1,000,000 Young Live. (Active Aquatics Theatre 2)
• 11.30am – 12.10pm: Maximising operational efficiencies whilst not impacting on safety. (Active Aquatics Theatre 1)
• 1.10 – 1.50pm: Unlocking new aquatic revenue through diversification. (Active Aquatics Theatre 2)

Additionally, members of The Swimming Alliance will host sessions on workforce, school swimming, and inclusion in aquatics.

Plus, we invite you to our stand to meet RLSS UK staff and learn more about pool technology, including the latest Swimming Pool Supervision Technology guidance, developed in collaboration with CIMSPA, Swim England and ukactive. There will also be information on RLSS UK's extensive range of qualifications and vocational training, from first aid and aquatic rescues to pool management and much more.
