This includes a full assessment of your knowledge and skills by an independent assessor. Candidates renewing their existing qualification should have been involved in regular ongoing in-service training over the last 24 months. This training should have covered the complete range of skills within the syllabus. We recommend that candidates keep records of all the training they receive. Candidates must meet the following conditions before you arrange a renewal assessment: They must hold a current, full NVBLQ They must have access to the most recent copy of the NVBLQ candidate manual CPD can be achieved by: Attending regular on-going in-service training (strongly recommended) Attendance at alternative training, face-to-face or online, relating to beach lifeguard theory,rescue skills, CPR and First Aid Struggling to complete your CPD Hours? This carries an approximate £300 charge and a 40-hour training commitment.
