The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) strongly advises that individuals holding First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid at Work qualifications complete an annual, half-day (3-hour) refresher training session.

Although not mandatory, the refresher training will help qualified first-aiders maintain their basic skills and keep up to date with any changes to first-aid procedures.
