The RLSS UK First Aid at Work (FAW) course is 18 hours of learning, which can be delivered over three consecutive days or split into smaller sessions over a 10-week period from the start of the course. The Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) qualification suits staff who work in a ‘low-risk’ environment such as an office or shop and meet HSE requirements. What is the cost of attending a First Aid at Work (FAW) course? The cost of first aid courses can vary depending on the venue and location, but a First Aid at Work (FAW) usually costs between £175 and £225 to complete. What is standard first aid training? The Emergency First Aid at Work course is six hours in duration and can be delivered in one day or split into smaller sessions over a four-week period from the start of the course; the training covers the most common topics such as CPR training, chocking, bleeding, burns, anaphylaxis and others. The Level 3 qualification enables a first aider to give emergency first aid to someone injured or ill while at work.
