Careers fairs (sometimes otherwise known as ‘job fairs' or 'recruitment events') can be an excellent opportunity for you to meet and connect with potential employees. Careers Fairs, hosted by schools, colleges, and councils, are a great way to engage with students, job seekers, and educators and share your organisation's passion for the leisure industry.

How your organisation can benefit from a careers fair

For employers in the leisure industry, participating in careers fairs can attract individuals interested in hospitality, sports, entertainment, and recreation, or those who enjoy meeting new people, working in a team, and delivering exceptional customer service.

You could:
•    Find enthusiastic students or recent graduates eager to start their careers in leisure.
•    Connect with individuals seeking to change their careers and bring new skills to the industry.
•    Meet candidates who are currently out of work but are excited about opportunities in the leisure industry.

Utilise our resources to get the most out of careers fairs

Being well-prepared for a careers fair is essential for maximising the opportunities available. It allows you to engage with attendees effectively and promote the benefits of working in the leisure industry. This approach will help you attract the right talent and build a strong team.

To make it easier for you to attend careers fairs, we have designed marketing materials to support you in promoting the aquatics and leisure industry, lifeguarding, and first aid training as a rewarding career choice. These materials also highlight how someone can progress their career opportunities after completing RLSS UK qualifications.

Below you'll find a range of posters, pop-up banners, flyers, and social media assets that you can add your logo to and use at your next careers fair, at your own premises during recruitment periods or on your website or social media accounts.

Important instructions for adding your organisation's logo to these careers fair resources:

1) Organisations that use and deliver RLSS UK qualifications and awards are allowed to add their logo to these Career Fair resources - allowing dual-branding. Do not cover or remove RLSS UK's logo.

2) If you are adding your logo, it must be placed in the lower left corner of the resource. If this spot is unavailable, then logos must be placed in the top-left corner of the resource. Logos must not cover any text or image elements. Logos must also not be larger than RLSS UK's logo.

3) Logos should be added with a transparent background. If a logo isn't visible on the background in the instructed area (see item 2), a white background may be added to enhance logo visibility. Logos must not be added to any other area of the resource.
