RLSS UK Approved Training Centres and Providers (ATC/Ps) will now have access to FREE Online Training within their RLSS UK Account for the National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers and Coaches (NRASTC) and National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers and Coaches LIGHT (NRASTC LIGHT).

The Ongoing Training platform allows ATC/Ps to access real-time details about their swim teachers' and swimming coaches' RLSS UK water safety qualifications. 

The new NRASTC/NRASTC LIGHT Ongoing Training features include the ability to:

• Monitor ongoing training hours towards renewal specifications to ensure all staff meet these before renewal.
• Monitor qualification expiry dates to ensure all staff efficiently and effectively complete their renewal ahead of expiration deadlines.
• View other qualifications staff hold within an easily customisable qualification wall chart (e.g. NPLQ, Paediatric First Aid (PFA), etc).
• Upload bespoke lesson plans for customised training requirements.
• Download all staff's qualification certificates quickly and easily.
• Access and view the details for multiple sites (where applicable).

The new RLSS UK Ongoing Training platform for NRASTC and NRASTC LIGHT will be an excellent tool to help manage and visualise our swimming teachers' ongoing training and competency assessment for Water Babies. We'll now be able to quickly monitor and visualise when our swimming teachers have refreshed their lifesaving, CPR, and first aid skills across our franchise network and plan ongoing training and renewals of their qualifications accordingly, minimising disruption and time taken when teachers come to renew their qualifications. The RLSS UK's Ongoing Training platform will allow us to quickly and easily plan our ongoing training, ensuring our staff remain competent and qualified to the highest standards at all times." said Alex Blackwell, Cert IOSH, Group Head of Facilities and Operational Management at Water Babies.

RLSS UK's NRASTC and NRASTC LIGHT are courses that teach supervision, rescue, and first aid skills for swimming teachers, coaches, and instructors who work during programmed activities such as swimming lessons in a wide range of swimming pools, e.g., leisure, competition, or wave pools.
